Help those being treated for cancer
While in treatment for cancer, chemotherapy take so much. One thing being you hair. Hair has become so important in contemporary society that losing it can sometimes feel like losing a part of yourself. However, headwear allows for people to cling onto a sense of normalcy in an uncertain situation and comfortability in an uncomfortable place.
Allow for little stress about at least one thing
With the stress about what to buy and how to prepare for treatments, the least someone should worry about is the aftermath. Free and available headwear is the bare minimum for someone who is going through something so big. Whether that person is a child, adult, male, or female, headwear can impact anyone's treatment plan in a positive way both physically and emotionally.

My name is Monica Ortiz and in August 2022 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer during my annual mammogram. For the next few months I would undergo a double mastectomy, 16 rounds of chemotherapy, 16 rounds of radiation, a hysterectomy, and reconstruction surgery, as well as medications to prevent recurrence. I am a mother of three girls, 23

I am a mother of three girls, 23, 21, and 16, and have been married for 25 years. In addition, I am a teacher, and the unconditional support given to me by my friends, family, and school and church community was so immeasurable, I knew I had to give back. This is how this organization started.
